Icarus Tableau is researched and written by Rolf A. Christophersen. The author lived in Dhahran from 1949 to 1958 and later from 1982 to 1985. He was an ARAMCON, the dependent son of a Western oil worker. These remembrances of Western life in eastern Saudi Arabia are shared with all expatriates in the spirit of Icarus, the idea that some people will take a big risk to satisfy curiosity or personal gain. His parents, and others, took a giant leap and their children are the benefactors of that startling and wonderful decision.

Dhahran Diary is placed on the internet to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Christophersen family's reunion in Dhahran on February 13, 1949.

Art Show is a collection of paintings, drawings, ceramics, and prints by the author.

Photocliques is a selection of photographs detailing the author's experiences. There is some construction but all the pages are attached.

Education is a compendium of written material to include lesson designs (under construction).

Aviation relates flying experiences and a section on flying model airplanes (under construction).
